CASA PEDRO

Casa Pedro is a beautifully restored farmhouse in a unique location, alone on an entire 247-acre finca, approximately 4 kms. from the village of El Gastor. It is so peaceful that all you will hear are the tinkling of goats' bells! This is the ideal place to completely chill; surrounded by mountains with views to the lake, this is where you will find utter privacy in an unbeatable setting.

The original farmhouse underwent a recent restoration in 2008 and has retained its original features such as the thick stone walls, keeping it cool in the summer, the wooden beams and the clay tiled floors. It has three bedrooms: the master bedroom with a queen size bed (150 cm) and an en-suite bathroom. The other two bedrooms have double beds (135 cm) in each. There is another separate bathroom. Both bathrooms are furnished with walk-in showers, WC, wash basins and bidets.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, a large fridge/freezer. coffee maker and toaster. A separate room outside houses the washing machine.

Leading off from the kitchen is the dining room with a dresser and a large table and chairs, followed by the lounge area with a comfortable sofa, an open fireplace for winter months, a TV, DVD and a sound system. The lounge opens onto a shaded porch with garden dining furniture and an open terrace with beds for the sun seekers. A pretty garden surrounds the 5 x 7 m. filtered pool and from the sun loungers you can lie and admire the wonderful views. There is another large terrace on one side of the farmhouse which is ideal for cooling off on hot summer afternoons.

There is air-conditioning/heating in the master bedroom and the two bathrooms. Access to the farmhouse is via a slightly bumpy but well-maintained track.
