This charming cottage is situated on a hill and enjoys the most breathtaking views imaginable across the entire lake of Zahara-El Gastor and the mountains of Grazalema. It has been carefully restored to retain its quaint character, its old wooden beams and thick stone walls and provides comfortable, cosy accommodation. It is on 12 acres of land and, although it is peaceful and secluded, it is just 5 kms. from the village of El Gastor and has very good access. Wi-Fi available.

The cottage comprises 1 double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom (shower, wash basin and WC) and 1 twin bedroom with a separate WC and wash basin. There is a spacious, fully equipped kitchen/diner with a 4-ring gas hob, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine, kettle, coffee maker and toaster. The cosy lounge is furnished with wicker chairs, TV, DVD, CD player and a pellet stove. A porch leads to a lovely stone terrace with a vine-covered al fresco dining area with table and chairs, surrounded by herbs, shrubs and flowering geraniums.

The swimming pool with Roman steps measures 8 x 4m. and is furnished with sun beds and a wooden pergola to one side providing shade in the hottest months. Behind the cottage there is a picnic bench hidden away under a shady carob tree – a wonderful place from which to enjoy stunning sunsets over the lake.

The owners, Mary and Pepe, also live on the finca in their own house and, whilst respecting their guests' privacy, will be pleased to help with any information or advice.
